Serving Beyond…
My name is Beyond Logistics Ltd. Most people call me BLL because my full name is quiet a mouthful. Born in April 2013 as a Private Limited Liability Company, my job is to provide Third Party Logistics for my clients by handling their procurement, warehousing and transportation needs. This is the reason I exist.
So, I wake up each day with one goal in mind – to create winning logistics solutions for every one of my clients so they thrive in their businesses. I know that when my clients succeed, I will have achieved my mission of building effective Solutions in the Health Supply Chain. As a logistics company, my vision is to achieve a Resilient Health Supply Chain for the Population by giving the very best possible service in the very best possible way.
My mission and vision keep me on track with every client I serve. Living in Bweyogerere in Kakajjo Zone, on Plot 1661, Link Road, off Mutasa Road, I am within easy reach for my clients who need individualised service I can also be contacted remotely for online interaction with my clients, so they don’t have to leave their premises to get their concerns addressed.
To ensure efficient service to my clients, I work with some of the most professional and dedicated staff in the logistics sector. Some started with the company and, through constant training and service, have perfected the art of Third-Party Logistics. Others joined along the way, enriching the BLL customer experience with skill sets acquired across the field.
With this diverse team my daily decisions focus on actions that will serve and thrive clients’ businesses.
A walk through my home reveals both staff and modern equipment at work. A normal BLL day is a cocktail of staff meetings and interactions to deliberate on key client needs. Often, I am busy with services (create link to services page) like procuring, receiving, recording, storing, loading, offloading and managing stock.
As I do all this, my driving question is how to best meet client needs at the right cost. Of course, sometimes things go wrong. But when this happens, my team acts fast to minimise inconveniences to my clients. We never rest until we have executed every client’s order to satisfaction. At the end of the working day, my doors are locked though I continue working long into the night.
I literary never sleep on the job. I embrace the peace and silence of night as settle in for night duty. My role then shifts to ensuring that my clients rest assured that their stock is safe even as they sleep. I listen to the night sounds all night long, ready to set off my robust alarm system in case of a fire or any form of security threat.
Monitoring the temperature of my clients’ stock also continues into the night. In case of power interruptions, I automatically turn on the generator to ensure constant power supply for guaranteed efficient storage. As the day breaks and my doors open again for business, I check myself to ensure that I am clean and organised in preparation for yet another day of efficient service to my clients.
